We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join out Finance Team located in Greenogue Business Park, Rathcoole, Co Dublin.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This hands-on role is likely to appeal to a part qualified or qualified accountant who is looking to enhance their career in accounting.
Its includes a variety of tasks, such as preparing and maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, analysing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and providing support to the CFO and FC with budgets and forecasting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified or part qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- At least 3 years’ experience as an Accountant
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal, Written and Presentation)
- Strong background in managing multiple projects concurrently
- Can-do attitude and excellent work ethics
- Possess proficiency in coaching, mentoring, and fostering inclusive leadership.
- Good team player that is capable of working with teams at all levels within the firm
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve client’s financial position
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage and prepare finance policies and procedures.
- Financial analysis and reporting – monthly management reporting and reporting contributions to the company’s financial strategy and decision-making process.
- Full Balance Sheet Reconciliation of all Key Balance Sheet accounts including (but not exclusively) Fixed Assets, Debtors & Creditors Control accounts, Bank Reconciliations, Taxation Prepaids, Accruals, Intercompany Accounts etc. Setting KPI’s and Monthly targets
- Preparation of P&L and balance sheet reconciliation and variance analysis.
- Intercompany and bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies.
- Fixed Asset & CAPEX Management.
- FX and currency translations
- Preparation and filing of VAT Returns
- Weekly revenue cost and margin reporting
- Purchase ledger involvement via Supplier Turnover reports and statement reconciliations as needed
