We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a:

Business Development Manager (convenience channel)

SALARY: Competitive with bonus and company vehicle



The role involves working closely with both Buying Groups Business Account Managers across Wholesale and Foodservice in delivering the sales and profit targets for the business, developing joint business plans and working with customers to grow their sales.

  • Manage a portfolio of NI customers and be responsible for their volume and revenue growth
  • To plan and implement NI specific overlay promotional plans
  • Develop an account branded programme in line with the account plans
  • Manage local trading terms agreements
  • Manage key member relationships and Accounts

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience within FMCG National Accounts
  • Sound understanding of joint business planning
  • Previous experience of growing accounts
  • Good category management knowledge
