An Irish owned, multisite, packaging company who supply to the Food, Retail, Industrial, Agri & Pharmaceutical Industries are seeking a proactive, customer focused Business Development Representative.

What’s the role?

  • Account management of existing and new key clients.
  • Deliver on individual sales targets for existing and new business.
  • Utilise your existing network and industry relationships to achieve sales targets and introduce new business.
  • Maintain regular contact cycles with prospects, new accounts and key stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present business proposals to meet client’s needs.
  • Quote and contract negotiation to close the sale.
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure customer requirements are met.

What do you need?

  • Experience providing custom products and consultative sales solutions based on providing value, not just price driven.
  • You’ll be positive and proactive; understand how to find and communicate with potential customers to validate their needs and secure their business.
  • With self-drive and strongly goal oriented, you’ll know how to manage your sales pipeline and produce accurate reporting to achieve high levels of success.
  • You can address the technical requirements, logistics, safety and costing aspects of project briefs.
  • Personality is the key to success with your application; our team is engaged, passionate, ambitious and supportive and it’s important we find a sales person who has the same values and will fit in well.
  • Experience in B2B (business to business) sales is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of the packaging industry would be beneficial.
