Job description

The successfull candidate will be resourceful, motivated and enthusiastic with a passion for great stakeholder engagement and customer care. While this person will not be responsible for the full technical aspects of the website, the perfect candidate will have working knowledge of website frontend technologies to find their way around existing solutions, upload daily content with ease, offer simple fixes and implement designs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Be an editor of the organisation’s digital presence, managing and uploading daily content
  • Develop key email communications while adhering to marketing best practises
  • Write, edit and commission social media and website content
  • Liaise with key stakeholders and associated third parties to create a positive user experience
  • Work with DotNetNuke CMS, MailChimp, Photoshop, Premier Pro, HTML and CSS
  • Evaluate current site content while managing site developments and improvements
  • Develop SEO-friendly content including but not limited to blog posts, long-form evergreen content, case studies and white papers
  • Ensure content is consistent with the company’s brand, voice, style and tone
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to firm up and bolster ongoing site developments
  • Oversee web-editor administration and manage user query emails
  • Ensure activity is measured and analysed for monthly analytical reports
  • Work with and support the broader marketing team in the execution of digital campaigns
  • Participation as requested, in special projects and other related duties as a Marketing and Communications Team member

Qualifications/Experience required:

  • A minimum of two to three years’ relevant experience in a Marketing/Digital team position
  • A qualification in Marketing, Digital Communications, Journalism, Media, or other relevant discipline
  • Possess excellent content management system, social media and MailChimp skills
  • Have excellent digital copywriting and editing experience, be creative and have an enthusiasm for digital design
  • Website development and maintenance experience
  • Good knowledge of at least two Content Management Systems and SEO best practice
  • Excellent understanding of website analytics e.g. Google Analytics and reporting on email campaigns
  • Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
  • Design/Desktop publishing experience (Adobe Creative Suite) with some evidence showing digital media design
  • Have superb user experience skills and able to develop and communicate clear, functional/design specifications
  • The ability to work well within a team environment, with a commitment to quality and consistency
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and work effectively with all stakeholders across the organisation
  • Basic video production and editing skills useful – but not essential.
