Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extensive interaction with clients
  • Deadline management across, accounts, CT, VAT, payroll, annuals returns and personal tax
  • Invoicing and Debtors ledger management
  • Ensure all staff are full up to date with change of legislation
  • Promote smooth client contact and satisfaction
  • Staff management, time sheet reporting, work in progress lists, distribution of work
  • Scheduling of assignments
  • Responsible for team development and training
  • Assist with the hiring of staff

Requirements:

  • Qualified ACCA/ACA/CPA or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years PQE experience in practice
  • Embrace and utilise accounting software and technology
  • Strong technical knowledge of Tax and accounting standards
  • Ability to manage and mentor staff
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in use of Relate, Zero and ability to work with any accounting system
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work at own initiative
